AAMA Connect Asia Conference 2011

This fall, Invest KOREA will be accompanied by 12 carefully selected IT companies to represent Korea’s most promising technology ventures at the Asia Conference 2011; East Meets West: Cloud Computing for the Masses.

The conference, presented by the Asia American Multitechnology Association (AAMA), will be held on Tuesday, October 4, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Google in Mountain View, Silicon Valley.

The 12 companies in Invest KOREA’s delegation will be available for one-on-one meetings with potential investors on October 3, the day prior to the conference.

AAMA was founded in 1979 and is a non-profit organization in Silicon Valley dedicated to building a high-tech community that shares a passion for business in Asia and the Pacific Rim. The mission of the AAMA is to:

  • create a networking and service organization that delivers unique programs to professionals interested in Asia and the Pacific Rim
  • foster business growth, entrepreneurship and capital investment in technology enterprises across Silicon Valley and Asia
  • identify and promote new emerging markets, successful technologies, and high potential ventures and entrepreneurs

This year’s AAMA Connect Asia Conference will explore the different ways cloud computing has reached the masses through multiple channels.

The topics that will be covered are:

  • The Social Cloud: Examining how the world is connecting and interacting within cloud-based communities
  • The Rise of the Green Data Center: Producing and harnessing efficient, sustainable energy to power cloud-based technologies
  • The Future of Online Video & Storage: Revolutionizing the way we share, view and consume large amounts of data via the cloud
  • The Emerging Growth of Apps: Boosting consumer and enterprise-level productivity utilizing cloud-based technologies
