AT Kearney’s South Korean unit has acquired a 27 percent stake in Korean systems integration and IT outsourcing company, Daewoo Information Systems. According to this I-News report, AT Kearney acquired the stake from Korea Asset Management Company (KAMCO).
Daewoo Information System’s largest shareholder with a 34.25 percent stake, was Glory Choice, a Hong Kong based investment firm and its 2nd largest shareholder was Hong Kong VC KMC International. A.T. Kearney’s recent investment makes it Daewoo’s second largest shareholder after KMC, while Glory Choice remains in the same position.
Daewoo Information Systems recorded 209 billionw won in sales in 2011.
